The lifelike native American figures at Gallery 31 in Franklin. These native American figures were used as props in John Wayne movies from the 1930s and 1940s, then were in front of Amity Trailer Sales in the 1950s. They were in a Franklin barn when Gallery 31 found them and placed them outside their store a few years ago. They’re now resting inside.

Every shop in Franklin tells its own story, offering visitors a piece of history through its collection. Whether it’s the Edison Standard phonograph that brings back the sounds of the early 1900s or the creatively repurposed cigar crates from Vintage Whimsy that breathe life into a man cave, the thrill lies in the history and uniqueness of these finds not to mention the special old toolbox with a mirror at Pump House Antiques, which not only served its primary purpose but also held wartime memories and stories of a bygone era.
