The restaurant’s name holds deep significance for the owners, as Joe and Ginger come from large families where Sunday meals were a cherished tradition. “Ultimately, it’s about gathering around the table. We want people to do that at Our Table,” said Chef Joe Miller.

The space is filled with natural light from the ample windows, and the dark wood tables and gleaming bar, hand-crafted by local woodworker Marc Adams, create a warm and inviting ambiance. Chef Joe Miller’s culinary journey began at a young age, when he worked in restaurants until he was 14. After enrolling in Ivy Tech’s culinary hospitality program, he met Chef Alex Darvishi, who became his mentor and helped him hone his skills. Miller worked his way up to sous-chef and executive chef at Meridian Hills Country Club, where he gained valuable experience in the industry.

 

The menu at Our Table features a variety of classic American dishes with a sophisticated twist. Diners can choose from an evolving menu that includes everything from Old World lasagna and a bistro burger to artisan flatbreads, a spicy shrimp bucatini, and sautéed walleye almondine. The menu also offers gluten-free and vegetarian options upon request.

 

One of the standout features of Our Table is the in-house bakery, helmed by pastry chef and baker Tanya Smith. Smith crafts the restaurant’s bread, desserts, and other baked goods, ensuring every item is made from scratch using the best ingredients. The restaurant’s “Focaccia Friday” and “Cinnamon Rolls & Sourdough Saturday” events have become popular with locals and visitors alike.
